The Story
Whitney’s background is in business marketing after graduating with her undergraduate degree in business and marketing from Arizona State University. She then got the opportunity to work directly in the marketing world creating, supporting and trying to grow within a fun family business. At that point, she continued to work while earning her masters in elementary education, with a vision to have a career that both supported her passions of learning, children, in her own future family…yes, also at ASU. Go Devils!
From there, she immersed herself in the dyslexia world with trainings, courses, and any certification she could get her hands on, including a year working at Lindamood Bell which helped mold and form many ventures to come. In 2013, her entrepreneurial side and the passion to create truly took hold as she started The Dyslexia Connection. What started out of her and her husband’s first home, a small business continued to grow from one small office to the next.

Family growth and children of her own allowed her to hire the best teachers while maintaining family values and the passion to be a mom to three incredible boys. This was done alongside also supporting the Arcadia and Scottsdale communities with two offices and team of teachers. It goes without saying, but those initial teachers she hired are still part of Study Hall today.

One thing leads to another, Study Hall was formed as the culmination of expertise, passion, strategy, heart, hard work, and the supportive husband and family cheering the vision on.
