Cancellation Policy

Study Hall Camp Policies Cancellations • Refunds • Sick Days At Study Hall, our camps are intentionally small, personalized, and teacher-led so that each child receives meaningful attention and support. Because of this, each camp spot is reserved specifically for your child, and staffing and planning begin well in advance. We truly appreciate your understanding of the following policies. ⸻ Cancellation & Refund Policy We understand that schedules can change. If you need to cancel your child’s camp registration: • More than 30 days before the camp start date: A 50% refund will be issued. • Within 30 days of the camp start date: We are unable to offer refunds. Because our camps are intentionally small and often fill quickly, this policy allows us to plan thoughtfully for teachers, materials, and group sizes. If your child is unable to attend, you are welcome to transfer the camp spot to another child who meets the age requirements, if approved by Study Hall. ⸻ Sick Child Policy To help keep our students and teachers healthy, please keep your child home if they have: • Fever within the past 24 hours • Vomiting or diarrhea within the past 24 hours • A contagious illness • Significant cold or flu symptoms Children should return once they have been symptom-free for 24 hours without medication. Because camps operate with limited enrollment and dedicated staffing, missed camp days due to illness cannot be refunded or made up. ⸻ If Study Hall Needs to Cancel In the unlikely event that Study Hall must cancel a camp due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, families will receive either: • A full refund, or • A credit toward a future Study Hall program For camps, it’s helpful to include photo/media consent + outdoor activity language so parents know what to expect. Since you sometimes use the back parking lot/outdoor space at Study Hall, the wording should be clear but still friendly. Here’s a soft, clear section you can add under your policies. ⸻ Additional Camp Guidelines Photos & Media From time to time, we may take photos or short videos during camps to celebrate student learning and share glimpses of our programs with the Study Hall community. These photos may be used for: • Study Hall social media • Website or marketing materials • Parent communications We will never include student identity Thank you for supporting our small, teacher-led programs.
